Mailing Lists

There are four mailing list

  1. An annouce list zsh-announce@zsh.org [Subscribe]
  2. A users list zsh-users@zsh.org [Subscribe]
    • This list is for questions and information about using the shell. It is low to medium volume
  3. A developers list. zsh-workers@zsh.org [Subscribe]
    • This list is for those interested in development of the shell. It is higher volume.
    • Subscribers to this list also receive all the messages from the users list
  4. A list for reporting security related bugs zsh-security@zsh.org
    • If you find a security problem in zsh itself, please send mail to this address.
    • This is not open for the public to subscribe to, but you can send e-mail to it.

Managing Subscriptions

To subscribe or unsubscribe, select the appropriate link above or send mail to:

You will receive a confirmation request. Reply to the request to authorize your subscription to (or unsubscription from) the mailing list.

You must unsubscribe from the mailing list you subscribed to. If you don't know which list you are subscribed to, Send a message to sympa@zsh.org with the command WHICH as the subject.

You only need to join one of the Mailing Lists as they are Nested. All submmissions to zsh-users are automatically forwarded to zsh-workers.

If you have problems subscribing/unsubscribing to any of the mailing lists, send mail to the mailing list administrator <zsh-announce-owner@zsh.org>

Archives

The mailing list are achived; to find out how to use the automated mailing list responses send a message to sympa@zsh.org with a subject of HELP.
